On Friday January 13th the ensemble of Jessica Pavone, Tristan Kasten-Krause, Nick Podgurski and Cory Bracken will give the first in-concert-hall performance of MONAD: for ensemble at Roulette Intermedium in downtown Brooklyn. Composed as a part of the City Artist Corps Grant initiative in 2021 the work will be uniquely staged for the occasion among new works: Emanations I & II and Invisible Gift.

Scored throughout with special guests Nadoyel, the evening will be one-of-a-kind and cinematic in its intimations. The full experience, inaccessible by the ears alone. Guests are urged to prioritize in-person attendance as best they can. We look forward to seeing you there.

I was asked by a friend if I might put together an open forum introduction to what I do in private consultations and lessons for those who might be interested but unsure, hesitant, need a taste, etc.
If you've had a consultation or taken a private lesson with me you already know that working to create practical solutions to situations

(personal, musical, artistic, and otherwise) is a central theme.

I'll be going through some basic practices, sharing some of my recent work,
and hope to work in dialogue through issues attendees might wish to share.

NO EXPERIENCE of any kind is necessary

ALL ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND

This has the potential to serve as a forum where solutions used in everyday life, the mundane and the specialized,
can come together and feed one another.

Sunday March 6, 2022 at 8pm the ensemble with Jessica Pavone (viola), Tristan Kasten-Krause (bass), Cory Bracken (vibraphone) will perform MONAD: for ensemble at Roulette Intermedium in Brooklyn NY. The second half of the evening will be a premiere of new piece EMANATIONS composed for this group. Livestream is available here for those outside of New York.

The new single *Becoming Between* will be released 10/18 everywhere. More to say soon.

Here is an excerpt from the performance with Barcelona-based artist Camila Cañeque at Funneled Smoke, New York on September 3rd.

MONAD, a piece composed for the ensemble of Jessica Pavone (viola), Tristan Kasten-Krause (bass), Cory Bracken (vibraphone), and Nick Podgurski (composition/synthesizer) was premiered September 3rd at Brooklyn’s Prospect Park with support from NYFA and the City Artist Corps Grant.
